Two weeks ago…….
One fun thing about birthdays- you get to choose the restaurant. And so I had to choose my favorite comfort food of the moment, Korean food. I had to order bulgogi. I think it’s a must when eating at a Korean restaurant.
I chose the Tofu House in Cerritos, CA for their tofu soup. Sundubu jjigae or Korean spicy soup with soft or uncurdled tofu is up there in my best soup list. Maybe 2nd. A chance to be 1st in the future ( I’m still partial to Japanese ramen). That’s my mom’s hands cracking fresh egg into her soup. Her soup looks white because she opted for no spices.
Mine was medium spicy. Happy birthday to me…..
